Extract PDF Pages

The Extract PDF Pages tool creates a new PDF document containing only the specific pages you choose from the original. This is different from splitting a PDF at fixed intervals — extraction gives you precise control, letting you grab exactly pages 2, 5, and 8–12 from a 50-page document without affecting anything else.

Page selection uses a simple comma-and-range notation familiar from printer dialogs: enter individual page numbers separated by commas, use a hyphen to specify ranges, or combine both (e.g. 1, 3, 7-9, 15). Pages are extracted in the order you specify, so entering 5, 1, 3 produces a three-page PDF with page 5 first, then page 1, then page 3.

Common extraction use cases:

• Pulling a single chapter from a lengthy technical manual
• Extracting only the signed pages from a contract
• Creating a highlights document from a long report
• Isolating a specific form page from a bundle of documents
• Grabbing appendix pages to share separately

The extracted PDF preserves all content of the selected pages at full quality — text, images, hyperlinks, and annotations are all retained. The pages come from the original document without any re-encoding.
